Chassepierre 2003
13th - 15th June

This year’s Chassepierre weekend away was a great success. Over 60 people including several families enjoyed once again the beauty of the Ardennes.
Activities included horseriding, walking, kayaking and cycling. Highlights included the ‘Thunderbirds 1 and 2’ rescue of the kayakers, who were completely drenched by the ‘mother of all thunderstorms’. Saturday closed with a very successful pub style quiz on Saturday night followed by the disco. On Sunday morning we enjoyed worshipping with the theme ‘If you want to walk on water, you’ve got to get out of the boat!’ (highly appropriate given Saturday’s exploits).

Once again, our grateful thanks to the team who organised it so well. We will need new organisers next year – any takers?
