A warm welcome to all today especially if you are a visitor. We trust you enjoy your stay in Brussels and worship with us today. Please join us after the morning service for coffee and drinks in the side aisle. You are most welcome to stay around and talk. If you are new please make yourself known especially to the clergy; we would be grateful if you would fill in a yellow card at the Welcome Table.
CHAPLAINS' NOTES
Whitsunday I still find Whitsunday the most exciting day in the church's calendar. Let us pray today that, at all the services, we catch something of the transforming power of the Holy Spirit both in our corporate and individual Christian lives.
Gift Day Today is the day when we make our pledges to the Centenary Renovation Project. We look to the Lord to meet the needs of this Project and to touch the hearts of his people so that the balance of funds required will be forthcoming between now and the end of the year. If you have mislaid your form and envelope, extras are available at the back of the church.
Sarah Pennington Sarah will be going to work in the Arab world in August to teach at a special school for disabled children. She is completing her training at All Nations Christian College just now and will be commissioned at Holy Trinity on 20 July before heading out to her new work towards the end of August. The Church Council have already made a contribution but I warmly commend Sarah to the congregation as some of you may like to offer her direct prayer and financial support. If you would like to do so please contact Richard Steel.
James Day James will be ordained a Deacon in St Boniface, Antwerp on Saturday, 5 July at noon. All members of HTB are warmly invited. Please let the church office know if you are going so approximate numbers can be passed on to St Boniface.
November Mission. Plans are well advanced for a return trip of members of the Africa Enterprise team in the Autumn. Some people will remember Michael Cassidy's last trip here in November, 2000. Council reflected on the matter last Monday and will consider the matter in greater detail at its July meeting.

FOR YOUR DIARIES
Men's retreat will happen again this year at the gite in Rochefort. The dates are 3/4 October (Friday/Saturday). Our speaker will be Dave Healey, a former solicitor, who now runs the publicity side of the Intercontinental Church Society.
Practical help needed! Do you have the soul of a DIY-er, or good arm muscles, and feel you could be called on very occasionally to put up a couple of shelves or help with some heavy lifting? The team at Church House would be very grateful to have a list of volunteers to call on for practical tasks. Please phone or e-mail Vicki at admin@htbrussels.com if you are willing to be on our SOS list and your name will be added to the database under our 'Here to Help' scheme. Many thanks.
To all those who use the photocopier in the church offices We are now in the process of detailing what the photocopying needs for each church group and committee are. This is an important step in a very necessary process of budget control. In order to do this, we are requesting that all users fill in the form on (or near!) the machine. Many thanks for your cooperation.
Definitely no dumping! We request that no second hand items be left in the church or at Church House at any time. We have no means of distributing them, and they are just wasted, which is a great shame when the 'Petits Riens' may be able to use them.
