A warm welcome to all today especially if you are a visitor. We trust you enjoy your stay in Brussels and worship with us today. Please join us after the morning service for coffee and drinks in the side aisle. You are most welcome to stay around and talk. If you are new please make yourself known especially to the clergy; we would be grateful if you would fill in a card at the Welcome Table.
CHAPLAIN'S NOTES
An issue facing Christians today The Archbishop of Canterbury has invited the primates of the Anglican Communion to meet him on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week following the current crisis in the Anglican church connected with homo-sexuality. So it is opportune for us to invite Martin Hallett, whom we warmly welcome today, to help us through this difficult area. Visit www.truefreedomtrust.co.uk
Martin became a Christian in the late 1970s and was a great help to many of us in my previous parish in enabling us to have a little better understanding of homosexuality. He formed True Freedom Trust which has subsequently proved to be an invaluable counseling service for those of homosexual/lesbian orientation and, through this role, has addressed many conferences both at home and abroad. He will preach at all services today (except 9.00), will address the Pastors and Elders of churches tomorrow morning at St Anthony's (10.00) and will speak at an Open Forum tomorrow evening at 20.00 (finish 22.00). He was last here during the Christian Impact weekend in November 1996.
Memorial Service. A Memorial Service for Liesbeth Knox-Peebles will take place in Holy Trinity this Thursday (16 October at 12.00). All are welcome.

The choir of the Armenian Church and, it is hoped, a Protestant choir will sing. For access by public transport, the nearest are trams 92, 93 and 94. There will be a notice in the porch.
Holy Trinity's communications committee is looking for a volunteer, of any age, who is interested in journalism or public relations to help two upcoming projects. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about journalism and global communication, and only requires a few hours of time for one week in October and November. The volunteer will work under the guidance of a senior journalist, researching media outlets, contacting journalists, and sending out press releases. Knowledge of computers and Internet searches a plus. Contact noelle_knox@yahoo.com.
