A warm welcome to all today especially if you are a visitor. We trust you enjoy your stay in Brussels and worship with us today. Please join us after the morning service for coffee and drinks in the side aisle. You are most welcome to stay around and talk. If you are new please make yourself known especially to the clergy; we would be grateful if you would fill in a card at the Welcome Table.

CHAPLAIN’S NOTES
Borzée This weekend is our church weekend. More than 150 people are gathered from our four congregations at Borzėe in the Ardennes. It is the tenth time we have gathered there since the first one in October 1993. We look forward to being together and to welcoming our guests, Max and Sue Sinclair, who will speak at two of our sessions and share a workshop on the subject of healing. It is a wonderful opportunity for us to be able to get to know each other better and we look to the Lord for his blessing. Jean-Pierre Herman will be leading services this morning at Holy Trinity today. We will be saying an official goodbye to him at the AGM (22 March) although he remains in the area (at Waterloo) and will keep his rôle as Chaplain of the Catholic Apostolics.
AGM Just now eight days away we value both your prayers and your presence. Last Monday a meeting was held to discuss the role of Treasurer as Gareth has now resigned. This is a very important appointment and one that deserves our thoughts and our prayers. I shall also be announcing my own future at the AGM.
Mothering Sunday There will be All Age Worship next Sunday (21st) at 10.30. Our Mission focus this month is Mission East and they will be sharing with us in that service.
Scripture Union Notes Peter Luson will be taking your orders for April/June on Sunday 21 and 28 March. Please pay with your order (€5).
CRP Self Help Please support Peter Mackenzie week by week as ‘self help’ continues in our renovation project. Things are beginning to shape up and to get really exciting. If you are able bodied do be a part of this worthy project.
Prayer Meeting Our monthly prayer meeting will take place tomorrow night at 20.00 in Church House. All are welcome.

Out of the Black Shadows - The Musical Stephen Lungu entered this world the unwanted, unloved product of an arranged marriage between a man of fifty and a girl of thirteen. At the age of twelve, he killed a man because he felt insulted by him. Later, he became a communist guerrilla fighter aiming to bring down the government of the former Rhodesia. In 1962, just before turning 20, he and his gang were on their way to blow up a bank. They stumbled across a tent full of Christians. They decided to firebomb the place. Prepared and ready, they had several minutes before the planned time of attack. Stephen suggested they venture into the tent to see "what those Christians were doing"........
Come and see the musical of year performed and organised by over 70 people. An extravagant explosion of colour, music and energy await you. Sample wines from the Cape region and taste the food of Africa.

AGM news Exceptionally this year it will not be possible to issue the AGM report two Sundays before the meeting. It will however be available on Sunday 21 March.
The AGM for Holy Trinity will take place on Monday 22 March at 20.00.
To be entitled to attend/speak/vote, you must be on the electoral roll. This is the situation at present:
Wardens: Ninette Dodoo, and Pat Thomas
Present Council members: Jonna Byskata, Johan Depypere, Mark Madeley, Leon Midson, Guy Milton, Ralph Wilkinson. Finishing this year: Peter Adekunle and Cheryl McCoy.
Archdeconary Synod members: Peter Arthern, Heidi Fuhrmann, Heather Roy and Paulina Van Rijn.
The two wardens need to be re-elected each year. Both are willing to stand again. Two new council members are needed for next year. Application forms are to be found at the back of church, more information is available from the wardens if needed. Only members on the Electoral Roll of HTB are eligible to stand.
The Council meets on the first Monday of each month. Its responsibilities are:
· To promote the whole mission of the church - pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.
· To be responsible for the church's financial affairs.
· To ensure the care, maintenance and insurance of church and property.
· Employment of the church's ordained and lay staff.
· Deciding with the chaplain the form of services.
· Listening to the views of the congregation.
How to become a member: Council members must be on the Electoral Roll of HTB i.e. they must have worshipped there for over six months and be over 16. They are nominated and seconded by members of the congregation and elected at the AGM. Anyone wishing to stand for the two vacant posts should write a short paragraph about himself or herself and if possible give a picture to Pat Thomas to be displayed at the back of church for all to see who you are.
Jean-Pierre Herman has now taken up an appointment as assistant minister at All Saints Waterloo. At the AGM we would like to offer him a gift of appreciation for the time he spent with us. Anyone who would like to contribute to this gift should either put a donation in the collection in an envelope clearly marked with his name, or give the offering to Ken or Pat Thomas. Thank you in advance.
A number of old hard wood window frames were discovered under the ceremonial porch and which are surplus to requirements. If anyone would like to make an offer for them, please contact the office, or Peter Mackenzie, who can show you what is there.
ADMIN. NEWS
!! The number of unaccounted for photocopies done at Church House continues to rise. 1798 copies were made without explanation in January and February, as opposed to 852 in November and December. Between 80 and 89% of this occurs at weekends. Any user of the Church House copier MUST fill in the form next to the machine, as we need to know what part of Holy Trinity’s annual budget goes to justified photocopying. Thanks to all for your cooperation.
