A warm welcome to all today especially if you are a visitor. We trust you enjoy your stay in Brussels and worship with us today. Please join us after the morning service for coffee and drinks in the side aisle. You are most welcome to stay around and talk. If you are new please make yourself known especially to the clergy; we would be grateful if you would fill in a card at the Welcome Table.

CRP Self Help Please support Peter Mackenzie week by week as ‘self help’ continues in our renovation project. Things are beginning to shape up and to get really exciting. If you are able bodied do be a part of this worthy project.
Borzée Once again the Lord blessed us at what many of our folk felt was one of the best of our weekends away together. Max and Sue Sinclair’s testimony of much suffering and hardship born of Max’s serious road accident was woven into their message. Based on Elijah’s own experience of careful preparation (1 Kings 17), heady success (18) and subsequent failure and a fresh commission (19) Max and Sue demonstrated that the greatest of the O.T. prophets nevertheless seriously failed under pressure. They therefore enabled us to identify more closely with Elijah himself.
The weekend was extremely well organised. While we are so thankful to many people who worked so hard (administration, music, translation, entertainment, welcome, children’s activities and many others) our special thanks go once again to Heidi Fuehrmann whose organisation was quite superb and much appreciated by us all.

Tickets Jenny Avery 02 734 6696 or tickets@african-musical.com Entrance: Under 18 years €2, adults €10. All profits will go to support African Enterprise Educational projects in developing African Countries (40%) and to support 12 of the Kenyan actors and musicians who wish to further their studies in Belguim. If coming by public transport, go to Kraainem Metro Station and catch either No 30 or No 31 bus. Both take you close to the German School. Ask bus driver where to get off. Or take 39 Tram to Beekstraat and walk 10 minutes along Beekstraat to the School. Would members of Holy Trinity attending the Play kindly stand by to give lifts to our heroic Cast back to Kraainem Metro Station at the end, as buses don't run at night. Many thanks.
Join the Inter-Church Committee of Brussels for a Prayer Vigil at St Michael and Gudule’s Cathedral on Saturday 3 April at 20.00 This year the Anglican, Roman Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant churches celebrate Easter on the same day. We would like to seize this wonderful opportunity, offered by the calendar, and ask all the Christian communities of Brussels to join in this vigil. An inter-church group is in charge of preparing this celebration, which will focus on prayer and meditation. This meeting aims at enabling a common start of the celebrations of Holy Week among Christians from different denominations.

The AGM for Holy Trinity will take place on Monday 22 March at 20.00.
To be entitled to attend/speak/vote, you must be on the electoral roll. This is the situation at present:
Wardens: Ninette Dodoo, and Pat Thomas
Present Council members: Jonna Byskata, Johan Depypere, Mark Madeley, Leon Midson, Guy Milton, Ralph Wilkinson. Finishing this year: Peter Adekunle and Cheryl McCoy.
Archdeconary Synod members: Peter Arthern, Heidi Fhrmann, Heather Roy and Paulina Van Rijn.
The two wardens need to be re-elected each year. Both are willing to stand again. Two new council members are needed for next year. Application forms are to be found at the back of church, more information is available from the wardens if needed. Only members on the Electoral Roll of HTB are eligible to stand.
The Council meets on the first Monday of each month. Its responsibilities are:
· To promote the whole mission of the church - pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.
· To be responsible for the church's financial affairs.
· To ensure the care, maintenance and insurance of church and property.
· Employment of the church's ordained and lay staff.
· Deciding with the chaplain the form of services.
· Listening to the views of the congregation.
How to become a member: Council members must be on the Electoral Roll of HTB i.e. they must have worshipped there for over six months and be over 16. They are nominated and seconded by members of the congregation and elected at the AGM. Anyone wishing to stand for the two vacant posts should write a short paragraph about himself or herself and if possible give a picture to Pat Thomas to be displayed at the back of church for all to see who you are.
Jean-Pierre Herman has now taken up an appointment as assistant minister at All Saints Waterloo. At the AGM we would like to offer him a gift of appreciation for the time he spent with us. Anyone who would like to contribute to this gift should either put a donation in the collection in an envelope clearly marked with his name, or give the offering to Ken or Pat Thomas. Thank you in advance.
A number of old hard wood window frames were discovered under the ceremonial porch and which are surplus to requirements. If anyone would like to make an offer for them, please contact the office, or Peter Mackenzie, who can show you what is there.
ADMIN. NEWS
!! The number of unaccounted for photocopies done at Church House continues to rise. 1798 copies were made without explanation in January and February, as opposed to 852 in November and December. Between 80 and 89% of this occurs at weekends. Any user of the Church House copier MUST fill in the form next to the machine, as we need to know what part of Holy Trinity’s annual budget goes to justified photocopying. Thanks to all for your cooperation.
KEYS The lock has been changed on the garden door. All those who hold a key to the old garden door are kindly requested to return them to church office as soon as possible. New arrangements are being made for current access to the church.
