Holy Trinity Newsletter

2 May 2004

A warm welcome to all today especially if you are a visitor. We trust you enjoy your stay in Brussels and worship with us today. Please join us after the morning service for coffee and drinks in the side aisle. You are most welcome to stay around and talk. If you are new please make yourself known especially to the clergy; we would be grateful if you would fill in a card at the Welcome Table.

A fully staffed crèche for babies up to 2 years old, is available during the 10.30 service over in Church House. If you would like to make use of it, an usher will show you where to go.

Vasco and James Vaz Queiro (Taylor), and Marie Rabe are being baptised this morning. We welcome them together with their parents, godparents and friends to the 10.30 service.

The Mission Focus  for May is the Protestant Social Centre here in Brussels.  The loose plate collection at all four services on 16 May will go towards the work of the PSC.  If you would like to support the work of the PSC and know you will not be present at Holy Trinity on that date, please put your gift in an envelope, clearly marked for the PSC, on either 9 or 23 May.  Thank you.

Apologies today as there is much disruption in the church. Work is now underway on the lighting, the cleaning and the laying of new carpets in preparation for the grand opening on 12 June. Please listen to the notices as help will be required again this week to move the pews.

A great stay at the Hilton for our opening weekend! There is a special arrangement with the Hilton Hotel for former members and visitors who would like to come for the opening (12 June). We have negotiated a price of €99 per double room per night. Please contact the church office for further information.

If extra leaders and helpers cannot be found then it is very possible that we will have to cancel some classes some weeks so please - HELP US OUT!! If you are at all interested and want to talk about it further then please e-mail Heather Roy on hjroy@yahoo.co.uk THANK YOU!
