A warm welcome to all today especially if you are a visitor. We trust you enjoy your stay in Brussels and your worship with us today. Please join us after the morning service for coffee and drinks down in the Hall. You are most welcome to stay around and talk. If you are new please make yourself known especially to the clergy; we would be grateful if you would fill in a card at the Welcome Table.
A fully staffed crèche for babies up to 2 years old, is available during the 10.30 service in the Charles Le Jeune Centre. If you would like to make use of it, an usher will show you where it is located.
The Mission Focus for September is Muyebe Girls School, Uganda. Muyebe celebrates its thirtieth anniversary this year. The school has developed much over the years and now takes girls up to ‘A’ level (baccalaureat). Holy Trinity’s rõle is chiefly devoted to an Assistance Fund to provide school fees for pupils in difficulty. The loose plate collections at all four services next Sunday, 19 September, will go towards Muyebe. If you would like to support Muyebe and know you will not be at church on the 19th, you can place your gift in an envelope, clearly marked Muyebe, today or on 26 September.
CHAPLAIN’S NOTES
Welcome We welcome today Isobel Peppiette, Thomas Hut and Elena Demande for baptism, together with their families and friends.
Cleaning As the Council did not feel it right to spend at least €20 000 per annum on cleaning, the church has now arranged for a new cleaning system which does require the active help of at least some members of the congregation. We are most grateful to Dora for heading up our church cleaning team and those students who will assist her. However, please offer your help to Dora on at least an occasional basis so that our renovated buildings can remain a church centre that we can always be proud of.
Russian Attack Following the outrage in Southern Russia last week we will hold a special evening tomorrow night (Monday) when we will endeavour to try and listen to God’s heart through his word and finish our time in a note of prayer. 20.00 in Church House. 21.30 finish. Mothers and/or fathers of small children may want especially to note this opportunity.
The Autumn programme is now available in the foyer. Please make sure you have a copy. Reading the Scripture readings prior to the start of the service will help you to prepare for worship Sunday by Sunday. Also available the current ICS News which features Belgium in general and Brussels in particular.

They are calling for the establishment of a ‘family friendly culture that affirms life’ in Europe. You can find out more about them on www.europe4family.net.

INFORMATION
Next Sunday 19 September is Car Free Sunday for Brussels. No car traffic will be allowed between 9.00 and 19.00. We at Holy Trinity shall be here to welcome you at all services, but you should plan for alternative transport!
Help! On 3 October 8 people are coming from Liverpool to the 10.30 service. They want to learn about Anglicans in Brussels. The service will tell them a lot but lunch afterwards with members of the congregation would probably inform them even more. Can you take a Liverpudlian or two to lunch on that day? Please contact Paulina on 02/375 23 20 or cancerhelp@tiscali.be
Did you know that the INNO car park is accessible to members of Holy Trinity on Sunday mornings from approximately 10.15 to 13.00? Using this facility frees up spaces on the street for visitors and can also avoid unpleasant surprises. The local traffic wardens have recently been very conscientious in their duties. Council has decided that the charge for the use of the car park should be €2 as from the beginning of September.
