James and his family have rejoined the HTB family after nearly six years away, during which James trained for ordination at Westcott House, and the Faculty of Divinity, Cambridge, and after ordination served as Assistant Curate at St Boniface, Antwerp, and The English Church, Oostende.
James' role at Holy Trinity is a non-stipendiary one. He is professor of psychology at the Universite catholique de Louvain, where he is also actively engaged in the ecumenical campus ministry programme he helped found, and he does consulting work as a clinical psychologist, in Brussels.
His wife Birte is a policy analyst at NORMAPME, and a teacher of swimming, religion, and yoga. James' children are Julia, Jonathan, and Jacob.
