Janet began pastoral work at Holy Trinity in autumn 2006 and was licensed as Pastoral Assistant in November 2007.

Professionally trained in counselling and Christian listening, Janet has many years of pastoral/support work experience in the wider community. She and her husband David are local contacts for The Compassionate Friends, an international support organisation for bereaved parents.

Janet and David moved from the UK to Brussels with their two young children Eleanor and Jonathan, and apart from an eighteen month assignment in the USA have enjoyed living here ever since. They now have two grandsons, Thomas and Joshua.

Janet likes Brussels with its cosmopolitan atmosphere, parks and forest and local markets with their wonderfully fresh produce. She enjoys music, going to concerts and the cinema, reading biographies, the seaside, and regular Channel-hopping to keep in touch with family and friends in the UK. .
